The On the Reef picture book series by Melanie Atkinson, an early childhood educator with over 25 years of experience and a background in developmental psychology, is designed to help preschoolers explore their “Big Feelings” in ways that build resilience, empathy, and confidence. Each story is closely aligned with the Australian Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF v2.0) and the UK’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), ensuring the books connect with trusted approaches to early learning.
